Here are the long-await, much-anticipated pictures of our cruise! Sorry it took me so long! Enjoy and let me know how you like them. I took a lot of pictures, but I only put a select few on the blog -- these are are a variety of the ones I took.
This is one of the many pictures the cruise photographers took - I only bought a couple. I couldn't figure out the scanner, so I took a picture of it! It's a nice pic of the family.
Sorry, this picture of a picture isn't that great, but I liked the picture itself. It was our "embarkation" photo.

Just one of Michela's many talents!

At the "muster" drill
Harrison asleep in his cot they set up
Michela loved her upper bunk
Jacob loved being next to the "window" even though there was just a wall behind the curtain! (we didn't spend the bigger bucks on an outside cabin - maybe next time!)
The nightly "towel creations" by the room steward were an anticipated event!

What fun pictures! Barbara, you are blessed with a very lovely family and it was great seeing them since I've heard so much about them.
Did you enjoy Carnival? I've been on three Carnival cruises, one out of Fort Lauderdale, and two from Galveston. I loved the days at sea.
Glad you had a wonderful time. As busy as you stay, you deserved this!
Great pics! Looks like you all had fun! I've never been on a cruise...do they have a vegan buffet? :) I would have to take a little hiatus from my diet, I think! Glad you all could get away for a bit!
Thanks, Peggy. Yes, we enjoyed Carnival and some parts of it were better than the Royal Car. cruises we've been on. Namely, the food in the dining room, the room and the room steward service. But, the kids program wasn't as good, so that's a big factor for us.
Angela, they actually have SOOOOO much food in the buffets and dining rooms that I bet you could find enugh to eat, even as a vegan. The only problem is that you would be tempted by everything else that's really good! :) I think you and your family would enjoy a cruise quite a bit, but I would suggest waiting a few years until the kids are all older. There isn't as much to do with the kids being young and it would be harder for you to enjoy it. If you are considering it, though, you could talk to Nicole because Ian and Alex were about 2 and 3 when we went on one together as a family.
Thanks for the pictures. Now I can put a face to the names!
I've never been on a cruise and I think I'd enjoy it. My husband can't imagine going on a cruise...thinks he'd be bored. I guess I need to go with the girls!
