I want to take an opportunity to wish my wonderful husband Marlon a very happy Wedding Anniversary. Fourteen years ago today, almost to the hour (it's 3 p.m. now and our wedding was at 4:30), we started our lives together at the Sheraton Hotel in Long Beach. We had a beautiful ceremony under the Chuppah with almost 400 of our friends and family there to wish us well. Then we had a fun dinner/reception at the hotel. 165 out of towners and family also enjoyed a poolside dinner party friday night, synagogue and lunch saturday, a rehearsal dinner sat night, and a brunch sunday morning. A brunch monday morning culminated the wonderful weekend that I still remember every detail of to this day.
The last 14 years have been better than I could have possibly imagined. Together we have had and are raising our three wonderful, beautiful, funny, sweet, smart children who give us so much joy and happiness. Together we have established a beautiful, comfortable, homey, loving and Jewish home where we have had so many good times. Together we have supported each others' work and activities, have encouraged each other and been each other's cheerleaders. Together we have planned and gone on so many wonderful trips and vacations. Together we have supported each other when times have been rough (fortunately, we are very blessed and have actually hardly had any rough times.) Together we have celebrated simchas and happy occasions and look forward to so many more. Together we plan for the future -- future work endeavors, future vacations, future simchas and future everything.
Together is the key word. Together we are great and I can't even imagine life apart. So, happy 14th anniversary my sweetheart and I look forward to another many many more wonderful years together.

Barbara,
that was a beautiful tribute. Happy anniversary to you both. I admire how you are so dedicated to your faith and family.
As one of the 165 out-of-towners, I can say that that weekend was incredibly luxurious, fattening, and superbly organized. We had a fabulous time. Happy Anniversary to both of you!
